Our vision for our guests:

"We love a healthy life and want to make this possible for people and animals, so that our actions sustainably protect nature, preserve biodiversity through the breeding of Harzer Roter Höhenvieh and produce food that has a positive impact on people's health!"

"Everything from one source"

Means for us, the calves are born here in the wild, grow up with their mothers on the mountain meadows of the Upper Harz, are eventually slaughtered stress-free and with dignity in the farm's own organic butchery and gently processed into healthy food!

This makes the difference!

A healthy life for humans and animals also means that our animals are not food competitors to humans, but only eat grass and hay and no concentrated feed or soya! In this way, nature is sustainably protected.

In our restaurant you will be spoilt with healthy dishes from Harzer Roter Höhenvieh and Angler Sattelschwein.

Everything is prepared with love to please your palate. We do not use artificial flavour enhancers and cook with everything the animal provides so that nothing has to be thrown away and with fresh spices, vegetables and herbs.

The ambience is cosy and rustic and lots of good sayings and pictures on the walls make hearts beat faster! Laughter is known to be very healthy!

The Harzer Rote Höhenvieh is our life and the farm and everything that goes with it is dedicated to the Höhenvieh.

Convince yourself of our mission to live a good and healthy life and enjoy the hospitality and good, healthy cuisine in our house!

A warm welcome!
