Harzer Seeland

Situated between Quedlinburg and Aschersleben in the foothills of the Harz Mountains, the Harz Lake District around Lake Concordia delights its visitors with a wide range of activities and a special variety of events.

Lake Concordia is the largest artificial lake in the Harz foreland with an area of 3.5 square kilometres. Its extensive sandy beach with sunbathing lawn and extra dog beach is in great demand in summer.
Due to its open location and large surface area, there is always a pleasant breeze that surfers, sailors and kite surfers enjoy.

When there is less wind, canoes and pedal boats are available for hire.
A highlight is the Harzer Seeland Adventure Land, which is the largest outdoor adventure playground in central Germany, covering an area of approx. 8 ha.

More than 50 pieces of playground equipment, figures, climbing castles, swings and seesaws - mostly made of wood - invite you to romp around. Most of the equipment is sized so that even adults can become children again and experience adventures together with their offspring.

On the spacious grounds, there are covered seating areas and barbecues that can be rented.
