The Thale cable car adventure world is one of the largest excursion destinations in the Harz Mountains. The cable car takes you through the mighty Bodeschlucht gorge up to the Hexentanzplatz and the Harzbob summer toboggan run. The chairlift takes you up to the Rosstrappe. From the top station, walk a short distance to the rocky plateau with the legendary hoof print. Our amusement park on the Bodetal fun island with 17 fantastic attractions then awaits you in the Bodetal. Experience a day full of variety - just like more than 700,000 visitors every year!

Splashy fun, Boderitt or Nautic Jet are just some of the attractions in the amusement park on the Bodetal fun island. The loop with rollover, the fast-paced motorised swing or the agile bumper cars are also great fun.17 great carousels and rides provide plenty of fun and action and there is also plenty on offer for younger children.
Pure fun and Harz summer freshness - here it's shaken and not stirred. Great attractions on, over and beside the water await fresh adults and fun-loving kids.

The first round is a brisk ride on the board.
Then drift across the water on the splashy ride. Glide along the sky in the Skydive and thunder into the water with the Nautic Jet. Or turn the world upside down in the Bodeloop and Luna Loop.
For younger children: shimmy from tower to tower in the large climbing maze, dig like the grown-ups with the mini digger and play crane, do a few laps on the cheerful flower carousel, jump towards the sky on the trampoline. The Funny Cars, which are driven by the kids themselves, are also fun. Great, another round.

Harzbob summer toboggan run
Summer tobogganing
It's just a short walk from the cable car mountain station to the Harzbob summer toboggan run. From the start at the top of the Hexentanzplatz, you whizz through steep hairpin bends in sleek bobsleds, over fun hops and down long runs through the middle of the forest. Sometimes upright down the hump. Sometimes forwards on your bum. Sometimes full throttle with an empty tank. Sometimes straight into bends. Sometimes in summer and winter. Sometimes looking down half the tube. Sometimes back and forth. Sometimes successfully downhill. After a fun ride, you arrive back at the start. On to the next round! For tall people from 8 and 1.30 m alone. For little ones from 3 with a tall one from 12. And again. And again. Are you sure? Safe. With safe fuses.

Minigolf course:
In a fun competition against the wonderful backdrop of the Bode Valley, you can find out who is the best minigolfer. The course is smaller than its big brother. But the fun is just as great. We will be modernising our minigolf course in 2023. Let us surprise you!

Family fun Hexenkessel
Fresh air works up an appetite! At the valley station of the gondola lift, there are various dishes, coffee and cakes as well as ice cream and other treats. There's always a free spot in our self-service restaurant or on the spacious sun terrace. From schnitzel to cabbage rolls with mashed potatoes, homemade pea soup, crispy grilled sausages and delicious cakes, the Hexenkessel offers a selection of dishes large and small. And for children there is the kids' menu and delicious ice cream.
