As one of the last charcoal kilns in our homeland, it offers the opportunity to get to know the traditional charring of wood on site.

The charcoal museum, which is unique in Germany, provides an insight into the history of charcoal making and gives an impression of the difficult conditions under which the charcoal burners lived and worked.

Here, traditional earth piles are set up, charred and harvested.
