Want to make the most of a day at the pool? At the Niedersachswerfen outdoor pool, you can do both in a single afternoon: swim laps in the large stainless-steel swimming pool in the morning, then race down the 47-metre slide with the children, and in between, relax in the sun on the spacious sunbathing lawn.

Nestled beneath the Kirchberg lies the most modern outdoor swimming pool in the Nordhausen district. It was refurbished in 2001 and reopened as the ‘Sommer-Sonne-Wonne-Bad’. In the non-swimmers’ pool, a water mushroom, massage jets, floor jets and massage loungers ensure that relaxation isn’t neglected either. And the little ones have their own paddling pool with a baby slide.

If you get peckish, the kiosk is just round the corner. 

Spa guests with a valid spa card are entitled to a discounted day rate (as per the price list).
