Two voices, two worlds - reading with author Marion Estermann

A special summer afternoon full of stories, emotions and surprising perspectives awaits visitors to the Bürgerpark literature café. The Wernigerode author Marion Estermann invites you to a reading that makes opposites audible and at the same time connects them.

At the centre of the afternoon are two of her novels that could hardly be more different - and yet follow the same narrative style.

With a sensitive gift for observation and great closeness to her characters, Estermann creates stories that touch, resonate and broaden our view of life.

How does a novel change when it is told from a different perspective? What creates its own tone colours, tensions and feelings? And what happens when two literary worlds collide?

The author takes her audience behind the scenes of her writing and reads selected passages that make the special features of both works tangible.

You can look forward to an atmospheric afternoon that leaves room for mental cinema - and perhaps comes down to the question of which story moves your heart more.

There is no separate admission charge for this event. All listeners need is an admission ticket for the Bürgerpark.
