The peony garden in the Bürgerpark Wernigerode is unique in the Harz region. Around 120 plants in over 70 varieties grow and bloom here, ranging from simple to double, woody and perennial species. A good reason to put the peony at the centre of attention once a year. The members of the Paeonia Breeding Consortium will be on hand on Peony Day to provide information on all aspects of the peony.
