Bergwaldsuites is a holiday accommodation provider in Schierke in the Harz Mountains, offering suites with a range of facilities for up to four people. Guests can choose from family suites, dog-friendly ground-floor suites and two wellness suites with their own sauna. The holiday flats, averaging around 60 m², feature a kitchen, bathroom and a balcony or terrace; breakfast can be booked at Montevino, located within the same building.

Built from solid log panelling, which ensures a pleasant indoor climate, the property is a real highlight in this small mountain village.
Spanning approximately 55 square metres, the suites feature a spacious living/dining area with a fully equipped fitted kitchen and a smart TV, a bedroom with a large box-spring bed and a smart TV, as well as a bathroom with a large glass-enclosed shower or walk-in shower.
Large furnished balconies (upstairs) or terraces (ground floor) are the perfect spot for a sundowner before you visit one of the local restaurants or the Vin’Osteria Montevino, located right in the building.
It is important to note that all bedrooms face the rear of the building, away from the restaurant area.

The Bergwald Suites are holiday apartments that leave nothing to be desired for a restful and relaxing holiday.
They are light-filled and open-plan, with the upstairs suites extending right up to the roof.

Family
Suites: In addition to a box-spring bed in the bedroom, the family suites feature a high-quality sofa bed with a roll-out function, allowing you to sleep at a comfortable height. There is also a sleeping and play area for younger guests above the bedroom and bathroom. Excitement and adventure guaranteed ;-)) A large, furnished balcony completes the package.

Wellness Suites:
The highlight is the wellness suites. In these, we have created a combined bedroom/bathroom/sauna area that is second to none. The highlight is a special ventilation system in the sauna, which ensures that the 90-degree heat from the sauna – complete with LED ambient lighting – does not seep into the bedroom but is vented outside. All our enthusiastic guests so far have confirmed that this is indeed the case. The living/dining area is equally stylish and modern in its design. Naturally, we have designed the toilet as a guest toilet separate from the bedroom. The living room leads out onto the raised terrace, which is generously furnished. This is the perfect spot to relax after a sauna session.

The two wellness suites offer further extras such as a 65-inch 4K UHD TV with a high-quality sound system, as well as an exceptionally large balcony

None of the other suites have a sauna!

Dogs welcome:
On the ground floor, we have two holiday flats that allow dogs. These have large terraces, and one is screened off from the street by a wall.

Self-catering:
The fitted kitchens feature high-quality built-in appliances, a kettle, a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso machine, a toaster and crockery for eight people.

Alternatively, you can book breakfast at Montevino – either every day or on selected days.
