Bergwaldchalets Wellness

Bergwaldchalets Wellness is a holiday home complex in Schierke in the Harz Mountains, awarded 5 stars by the DTV, featuring private wellness areas and views of the Schierke mountains and the Wurmberg. Each 110 m² pet-free chalet is designed to accommodate up to five people and features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a wood-burning stove and a terrace. The separate wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, a relaxation area, a shower and a sauna terrace; a wallbox is available at the pitch.

Location and description:
We have built four semi-detached houses – the Bergwald Chalets – on a south-west-facing hillside plot.
The wellness chalets are situated right in the heart of nature and offer unobstructed views of the Schierk mountains and the Wurmberg.

Each semi-detached house features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a high-quality, fully fitted kitchen, a wood-burning stove and a furnished terrace complete with a barbecue and a cantilever parasol.
On the ground floor, underfloor heating beneath the designer vinyl flooring provides the desired warmth, whilst the bedrooms are fitted with panel radiators.
In the wellness chalets, you have your own sauna area beneath your terrace, featuring a Finnish sauna with glazed walls opening outwards, a relaxation area with comfortable loungers, a shower, a fridge, a Bose sound system and a further terrace.

A Walbox (charging point) is available at the allocated parking space for each wellness chalet. Here you can charge your electric car ‘whilst you sleep’ at the applicable daily rate.

Facilities and details:
When it comes to furnishings and facilities, the chalets leave nothing to be desired.
As with our mountain forest lodges, you’ll find a modern mix of styles here too. A cosy, homely log cabin feel combined with modern, stylish furnishings.
The high-quality kitchens are fitted exclusively with branded appliances. In the wellness chalets, you’ll cook on a 90cm induction hob.
Materials used in the living area include velvet, ceramics, steel and HPL
. A Bose sound system provides the perfect entertainment.
The bedrooms are furnished with large, comfortable box-spring beds. A two-metre-wide sliding-door wardrobe ensures you won’t have to live out of your suitcase.;-))) Each bedroom has a smart TV with a soundbar.
The bathrooms, with their walk-in showers, offer plenty of space for a thoroughly enjoyable shower.
We rely on brands such as Nolte, Duravit, Bose, Hark and BSH

For our younger guests, we provide a travel cot with a mattress, a high chair (similar to a Tripp Trapp) and a stair gate

On the mezzanine, there is also a very high-quality sleeper chair for an extra bed.
