Welcome to a kingdom where vegetables suddenly rule! In Jacques Offenbach's imaginative operetta "King Carrot", the world is turned upside down: a greedy king, a brave prince, talking plants, magic and lots of music make for a turbulent adventure.

This time, the Wernigerode Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra is bringing this special work to the stage not in the concert hall, but in the Bürgerpark Wernigerode. With colourful melodies, comical characters and a large dose of humour, the orchestra will whisk you away to a world full of fairy tales, magic and music. A narrator guides you through the story so that even younger listeners can enjoy following the action. A musical treat for the whole family.
