Harztorlauf 2024

THE ANNIVERSARY HARTOR RUN - join us for the 10th time through the southern Harz countryside around Harztor. You decide which challenge you want to take on. This year we are offering the chance to run a marathon, probably for the first time, in addition to the usual routes.

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO ENTER YOURSELF IN THE HARZTORLAUF HISTORY BOOKS.

Inthe middle of Germany
Not far from the geographical centre of Germany - easy to reach from all directions.
In the middle of nature
Harztor is located in the far north of Thuringia, in the southern Harz Mountains. Nature is therefore right on the doorstep.
In the midst of friends
The Harztorlauf has long been known beyond the region. We welcome participants from all over Germany and abroad.

Under the motto "Full steam ahead to the 10″, we offer you an unforgettable running experience on various, well-prepared routes and a great supporting programme at the finish area.

The hub of the Harztorlauf is the car park of the HERKULES market in Niedersachswerfen. The departures to the start locations in Sophienhof and Ilfeld start from here, and the short distances are only a short distance from the car park. These are your options:

Anniversary marathon
Half marathon
8km run
5km run
2km run/2km school run
8km Nordic walking
Bambini run

The fastest man and woman will be crowned on each route.

You don't want to start alone? Then find a few people and form a team of at least five runners.

Our Fitness First team relay is aimed at companies, institutions and clubs. A maximum of 5 runners can form a team and compete for the team relay challenge cup.
Running with dogs is becoming increasingly popular. This year, too, you can tackle the running routes with your four-legged friends. We will be supported by the caretaker service Dennis Herbig.

Not new, but unique is the family festival. Spectators and guests can experience entertainment for young and old on the grounds of the Herkules car park. Food and drink will also be provided.

Registration for the 10th Hartztorlauf can be completed online at www.harztorlauf.de by 02 May 2024. The Harztor-Lauf Verein team will be available for late registrations and handing out starting documents on Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm and on Sunday from 7 am.
