Harzglück Holiday Home – Arrive. Take a deep breath. Your very own private getaway in the Harz Mountains. Our lovingly furnished holiday home sleeps up to 4 people. Situated in a peaceful spot, surrounded by the natural beauty of the southern Harz. Here, you have the whole house to yourselves, with plenty of space, comfort and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Sometimes it doesn’t take much to turn a few days’ holiday into a proper break. With us, you don’t have to share anything – the whole holiday home is yours during your stay.
Quietly situated on the outskirts of Bad Lauterberg, you’ll find a place here to settle in and unwind. The woods and countryside are right on your doorstep, whilst the spa gardens and the town centre are within walking distance (approx. 2 km).
Our house has been furnished with great attention to detail – it’s warm, cosy and of a high standard, with an eye for the little things that make your stay particularly pleasant. Outside, during the summer months, a spacious, partially covered terrace awaits you – perfect for enjoying your first coffee of the morning in fine weather, for cosy evenings or simply for a bit of lazing about. And inside? There’s that special feeling that our guests describe time and time again. You arrive and immediately feel at home. That’s our ‘Harz happiness’. Perhaps it will soon be yours too.
With around 100m² of space spread over two floors, there’s plenty of room to spend time together and to have a bit of time to yourself now and then. As well as the bedroom with a large double bed, there is a cosy bedroom with a 1.40m alcove bed – perfect for a third person, a child or simply for anyone who likes to have their own little space whilst on holiday. From here, you also have access to a balcony with a lovely view of the woodland. Both bedrooms are on the upper floor of the house. If there are four of you travelling together, you’ll find another comfortable sleeping option on the large sofa bed in the downstairs living area. However, this isn’t just an extra place to sleep; it’s also the perfect spot for cosy evenings in front of the telly, especially on days when the Harz weather isn’t playing ball. For those who’d rather give the telly a miss, there are also games and a selection of books on hand for some relaxing time.
Our kitchen is fully equipped and, as well as everything you need for cooking and dining, also offers plenty of handy everyday items. Whether it’s a morning coffee, a quick breakfast or a leisurely dinner, we’ve made sure there’s plenty of crockery and kitchen utensils, as well as a coffee machine, toaster, microwave and blender. The small kitchen counter with four bar stools is a lovely spot to enjoy a quick meal or plan your day over a coffee. If you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, simply make yourself comfortable at the dining table in the living area.
Our bathroom is compact but practical and thoughtfully fitted out. As well as a shower and toilet, there’s plenty of storage space for toiletries and personal items, as well as plenty of places to hang towels neatly so they’re within easy reach. These are the little details that make all the difference on holiday and are consistently praised by our guests.
Our spacious terrace is a real highlight during the summer months. There’s also a barbecue here for cosy evenings. A flight of steps leads directly into the garden, which you’re of course welcome to use as well. Take a deep breath, soak up the sun, feel the autumn air on your face, switch off – what more could you want?
Your car also has its own space here. A private parking space is available right in front of the house. This means you can arrive comfortably, unload your luggage and not have to worry about finding a parking space.
In the cellar, a washing machine and tumble dryer are available for a small fee, and there’s also a clothes horse. And there’s a suitable spot in the cellar for wet or muddy shoes from your walks, so they can dry out and the living area stays clean.
Harzglück is the perfect base from which to explore the Southern Harz. Many attractions are within easy reach by car, but there’s plenty to explore right on your doorstep too. Whether it’s a hiking adventure, a short discovery tour, a cycle ride or a day when you simply have no plans at all. Here at Harzglück, anything is possible. If, at the end of your stay, you say, “We’ve really felt at home here”, then that is the greatest compliment we could receive.
