Runde von Hahnenklee

The Hahnenklee hike along the Bocksberg is considered an easy hike and is therefore ideal for everyone . The route starts in Hahnenklee and first leads along the northern part of the Blocksberg past the Grumbacher Teiche ponds further south along the Bockswiese back to Hahnenklee.

The starting point of the hike is the bus stop at the Hahnenklee Treff Hotel. The first highlight of the hiking trail is the "Source of Love" bench. A very sensual work of art of a bench and the water spring next to it, whose water is very refreshing. The inscription on the bench reads, among other things: "Refresh and revitalise love again and again, give new impetus, seize the opportunities ...".

After approx. 1.5 km along the hiking route, the view of Hahnenklee follows. The spot is ideal for a rest stop.

If you want to spend even more romantic time with your partner, you will particularly enjoy the next highlight of this hiking trail: The so-called "engagement bench". Located on the Liebesbankweg trail, the bench is the perfect photo motif and has already been the setting for a number of love locks.

The next stop on the hike is the hut on the Liebesbankweg trail, which is one of three stamping points along the trail. Those who walk the entire Liebesbankweg trail and collect all three stamps receive a certificate with their name and date. The hut is in an idyllic location and is perfect for a rest.

What now follows are the Grumbach ponds to the south mentioned above. The upper and middle Grumbach ponds also invite you to rest with numerous benches along the path and offer a wonderful view of the water. If you take a closer look, you can also see the Harz gondolas from here, which lead to the top of the Bocksberg. The hike continues along the eastern edge of Bockswiese and ends where it started, in Hahnenklee.
