Runde von Hahnenklee

The Hahnenklee hike along the Bocksberg is considered an easy hike and is therefore perfectly suitable for everyone. The route starts in Hahnenklee and first leads along the northern part of the Blocksberg past the Grumbacher Teiche further south along the Bockswiese back to Hahnenklee.

The starting point of the hike is the bus stop at the Hahnenklee Treff Hotel. The first highlight of the trail is the "Source of Love" bench. A very sensual work of art of a bench and the water spring next to it, whose water is very refreshing. The inscription on the bench says, among other things: "Always refresh and revive love, set new impulses, use the opportunities ...".

After about 1.5 km along the hiking route, the view of Hahnenklee follows. The spot is ideal for a rest.

Those who want to spend even more romantic time with their partner will particularly enjoy the next highlight of this hiking trail: The so-called "engagement bench". Located on the Liebesbankweg, the bench makes a perfect photo motif, and quite a few love locks have already found their place on it.

The next stop on the hike is the Liebesbankweg hut, which serves as one of three stamping points along the said trail. Those who walk the Liebesbankweg completely and collect all of the three stamps receive a certificate with their name and date. The hut is idyllically situated and is an excellent place to rest.

What follows now are the Grumbach ponds to the south mentioned earlier. Both the upper and the middle Grumbach ponds, with numerous benches along the way, also invite you to take a rest and offer a wonderful view of the water. If you look closely, you can also see the Harz gondolas from here, which lead to the top of the Bocksberg. The hike continues along the eastern edge of Bockswiese and ends where it started, in Hahnenklee.
