6th Stolberg Castle Run on 1 June 2024

Running for a good cause! On Saturday, 1 June 2024, the 6th Stolberg Castle Run will take place.

Set off running or walking through the impressive nature of the southern Harz region. You can choose between the 10 kilometre run, the 5 kilometre run or walk, the challenging half marathon distance and a relay race. The youngest runners take part in the 300-metre bambini run and a 2.2-kilometre run for everyone rounds off the sports programme.

The perfect backdrop for the start and finish is Stolberg Castle, the town's landmark and once again the focal point of the sports event.

This year, too, the runners will be running for a good cause, as each entry fee already includes a donation for a regional project.

The idea behind and organisers of the running event are the Ritter von Kempski private hotels, which include the Naturresort Schindelbruch and the Romantik Hotel FreiWerk in Stolberg. "We are very happy about the great response from Stolberg and the region and would like to thank our sponsors and supporters already now, whose commitment makes the event possible again," says Dr. Clemens Ritter von Kempski, owner and managing director of the Ritter von Kempski Privathotels. "The Stolberg Castle Run is an excellent ambassador for the region. Here, the joy of sport is combined with a commitment to regional tourism," continues Dr Clemens Ritter von Kempski.
