The holiday home was extensively renovated in 2011. The attention to detail with which the craftsmen approached the task can be felt by the guests even before they enter the house. The holiday home at Marktstraße 45 is part of a mature half-timbered ensemble. It is only a stone's throw away from Wernigerode's historic market square.
The entrance area: Warm colours dominate and are a pleasant contrast to the resinous rustic furnishings of the hallway. The living room is tastefully yet practically furnished. A large flat-screen TV and various games are available to entertain guests.
Holidaymakers will find pure relaxation on the large sofa in the living room. The couch also pulls out to make a comfortable bed for the night. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor. These rooms also offer comfort and unobtrusively bring out the medieval charm of the house, which was built in 1634.
Both bedrooms have large double beds and a cot for sleeping. Small details create a pleasant atmosphere. Large bedroom wardrobes offer guests enough storage space to easily stow away belongings and luggage even during longer stays.
The kitchen on the upper floor is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave and toaster and can easily cope with all cases of small and large appetites. With the dishwasher, the washing up (almost) takes care of itself. In the bathroom with shower and toilet, everything is tip-top.
Guests of the holiday home feel particularly at home in the cosy courtyard behind the house. Two seating areas - one covered - invite you to relax in the fresh air and have a barbecue.
