We, the Linde-Schmidt family and their hard-working helpers, would like to welcome you to our restaurant "Biggis Jodlerstübchen". The name says it all, as the owner of the restaurant is a multiple Harz yodelling champion.

We stand for quality at fair prices, offer our guests a special service and endeavour to ensure the well-being of every guest.

A unique view for a walk in between, a playground & animal enclosure for the children but also disabled-friendly toilets and nappy-changing facilities are just some of the details that take this into account.

We are happy to customise our hot and cold buffet according to your wishes. All dishes are prepared directly in our own kitchen.

Beer garden

In summer, our beer garden invites you to linger. There is room for approx. 150 people.

Due to its location on the edge of the forest, it feels a little more pleasant here than in the centre of Wernigerode. So it's worth the journey.

Playground & petting enclosure

Our little guests can let off steam in our playground. In our animal enclosure there are bunnies, ducks, chickens and our peacock couple to watch. There is a nappy-changing facility for the very little ones.

Musical Harz hike

Our hotel manager and multiple Harz yodelling champion Biggi will guide you musically through the beautiful Harz Mountains (duration approx. 45 minutes). With atmospheric songs, your visit to Charlottenlust will be an unforgettable experience. A warm invitation to sing along and sway!

Tip: Our CD is guaranteed to bring a local Harz flair to your home.

Hiking with a great view of Wernigerode

A 2 km long hiking trail leads around the Jodlerstübchen with a marvellous view over Wernigerode to the castle and the Brocken. Afterwards, our homemade cake with coffee tastes twice as good.
