If you want to experience the history of the Harz region from a different perspective, then you should visit the Tin Figure Museum in Goslar. In the historic Lohmühle in the middle of the old town, you can view the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Harz in a special way.
You've never experienced the Middle Ages like this
The Pewter Figurine Museum in Goslar is the most beautiful museum of its kind in Germany. Numerous pewter figures show noblemen, miners and other citizens from the Middle Ages. All of them tell their own special story. The Lohmühle, where the pewter figure museum in Goslar is exhibited, also fits in perfectly with the theme, as it too was operated in the Middle Ages. The mill was once used to crush certain tree barks to obtain tanning agents for leather production.
