As the name already suggests, this cycle route attracts hikers and cyclists mainly because of its beautiful panoramic view over the Innerstetalsperre. Cyclists should allow about 3 hours for the route, which is about 46 kilometres long in total, depending on their individual pace. Starting at the railway station in Goslar, the route first heads towards Langelsheim, from where it then continues towards the Innerstetalsperre. Once there, a wonderful panorama awaits hikers and cyclists together with the photo platform.
The rest of the cycle path leads along the southern bank of the Innerstetalsperre down to the mountain town of Lautental. The town takes its name from the river Laute, which flows into the Innerste at this point. Characteristic of the Harz region, this quaint little town is also home to numerous beautiful half-timbered houses. The route then continues south along the Innersteradweg (inner cycle path) to between the Steimkerberg and the Adlersberg. From there, the cycle route leads back the same way to the Innerstetalsperre and from there again back to Goslar.
