Harzturm

Surrounded by nature and in the middle of the Harz landscape, the 65 metre high Harz Tower rises up in Torfhaus. Whether on foot or comfortably by lift - once at the top, visitors can expect a phenomenal view of the Brocken and the Harz National Park. The two 360° panoramic viewing platforms offer an impressive all-round view.

Thrills are also guaranteed: adventurous visitors can venture onto the Skywalk, a glass platform at a dizzying height with an unobstructed view 45 metres below.

The descent from the Harz Tower can be made for the brave through our "Rasantia" adventure slide. With a length of 110 metres, it winds its way around the outside of the tower and guests can experience a magical slide adventure at speeds of up to 25km/h. Sound & light effects make the journey down through adventurous curves something very special.

The wooden tower sculpture, which spirals up towards the panoramic view, is a magical attraction and meeting place in the middle of the unmistakable natural and cultural landscape of the Upper Harz.

The 65 metre high tower screw imitates a hollow, twisted tree trunk. This was modelled on the intelligent natural design of the rising spruce cone.

The components of the barrier-free ensemble are predominantly made of wood, a natural building material.

The entrance fee for the Harz Tower experience is €15.00 per adult (aged 16 and over) and €7.50 per child (aged 6 to 15). There are of course advantages for families with various family tickets. The magical slide adventure costs €4.50 per single ticket. Here, too, there is the option of advantage tickets or "All you can slide" (personalised).

Please note that use of the "Rasantia" adventure slide is only permitted from a minimum height of 1.30 metres, as everyone can only experience the rapid descent individually in a slide bag.
