Tropfsteinhöhlen Rübeland

The Rübeland stalactite caves amidst the unique natural scenery of the Harz Mountains are among the oldest and best-known show caves in Germany. Both Hermann 's and Baumann' s Caves lead deep into the legendary Harz mountains, with moments of surprise guaranteed!

In the Baumannshöhle , even the ascent through the 74-metre-long entrance tunnel with a 16% incline is an experience that makes the heart beat faster. But the effort is rewarded: deep inside the cave , a unique wealth of colourful and imaginative stalactites awaits visitors. The absolute highlight is the Goethesaal with its underground natural stage and space for up to 270 event guests. Theatre performances, concerts and even weddings take place here regularly.

In Hermann's Cave , some 300 steps lead through huge caverns up to 50 metres high, up to 50 metres high with a multitude of unique dripstone formations. stalactite formations. During a 50-minute guided tour, you will learn everything you need to know about the special features of Baumannshöhle and/or Hermannshöhle, their stalactites and cave dwellers. In addition, you have the opportunity to visit Hermann 's Cave without a guided tour at selected times. Children's torch tours are also offered regularly especially for our younger guests.

Please note that the opening times of Hermann's Cave and Baumann's Cave vary seasonally and that Hermann 's Cave remains closed during the winter months due to bat protection. During this time, however, Baumann's Cave is open on a regular basis.
