Route description:

Our hike around the Rappbode valley barrier system starts in the valley village of Neuwerk. Far away from the tourist hustle and bustle, we walk through the wild, green beauty of the Harz foreland. We are always accompanied by the cool water of the dam.

Wonderful rest stops invite us to sample our local specialities and after a moderate climb and crossing the Titan RT suspension bridge, we have earned our lunch at the Fettluke. Then it's almost all downhill back to the starting point.
