7. Stolberger Schloss-Lauf

On 30 August 2025 running enthusiasts from the region and all over Germany will meet again for the 7th Stolberg Castle Run. You can choose between different distances, through the impressive natural surroundings of the European city of Stolberg and the southern Harz and the southern Harz Mountains. The programme included a 10-kilometre run, a 5-kilometre run or walk, a half marathon distance and a relay race. The youngest youngest runners took part in the 300 metre Bambini run, and a 2.2 kilometre kilometre run for everyone rounded off the sports programme. Centre of the centre of the sports event and the start and finish line was Stolberg Castle.
The organisers of the running event are the Ritter von Kempski Privathotels & Resorts, which includes the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch and the include the Hotel & Spa Suites FreiWerk in Stolberg. "The Stolberg Schloss-Lauf is an excellent ambassador for the region. Here the sport is combined with a commitment to regional tourism. We would like to thank our sponsors and supporters, whose commitment has once again made the event possible once again," commented Dr Clemens Ritter von Kempski, owner and managing director of Ritter von Kempski Privathotels & Resorts, commented on the previous successful charity sporting event. Running again for a good cause: 3,052.50 euros will go to the kindergartens in kindergartens in Stolberg and Rottleberode.
