The dream of a fine liqueur

The Harzer Likörfabrik Rolle GbR was sold due to the age of the managing director and passed into younger hands. Nicole Tondera has known the company for many years and took over the business on 2 January 2016. Helga Rolle, the previous managing director of Harzer Likörfabrik Rolle GbR, has created a wonderful selection of herbal liqueurs, fruit juice liqueurs, brandies and distillates over the last twenty years as a master distiller. This is not about to change. "I want to continue your life's work and turn it into something new with a lot of vigour and good ideas: MY LIFE'S WORK."

A great team puts love and passion into every bottle

Despite all the enthusiasm, the finest liqueurs are not created single-handedly. The Harzer Likör Manufaktur has a family team of employees, each of whom puts their heart and soul into their product.

The long tradition of Harzer Likör Manufaktur Quedlinburg

As early as 1600, the town of Quedlinburg, with a population of just 6000, had over 100 distilleries in the town centre. These were the forerunners of today's Harzer Likör Manufaktur, which is also known beyond the region's borders. Rich grain harvests were the basis for these distilleries. Favoured by the prevailing climate in the Harz foothills, herbal and fruit juice liqueurs have always been produced. This made it easier for the hardy Harz people to survive many harsh winters and hard labour in the fields or mines with regional products.

The Harzer Likörfabrik- und Weinkelterei Quedlinburg was founded in Quedlinburg in 1953!

Harzer Likörfabrik- und Weinkelterei Quedlinburg emerged from the Schuchard cidery as a state-owned company. In the periods that followed, several privately-run small companies in the beverage industry from the district of Quedlinburg joined the company.

Our specialities

Our specialities are deeply rooted in the region and are extremely popular. The original recipes for our liqueurs go far back into the history of the company. To ensure that our customers continue to enjoy consistent quality even after decades, production is constantly monitored and the composition of our spirits is kept strictly secret. This means that our products are unique in terms of composition and flavour.

Often copied but never equalled, the spirits from Harzer Likör Manufaktur offer a unique pleasure.

There is something for every taste in our range. In addition to various herbal and fruit juice liqueurs, we also offer distilled liqueurs and fine brandies. Even the traditional multi-fruit wines Harzer Juwel and Roter Schlossberger, as well as the Kastell and Chateau brandies are still available. They are produced for us according to the old recipe.

Rharbarber

AWARDED THE CULINARY STAR "SACHSEN-ANHALT" 2018
Rharbarber liqueur is characterised by its tangy flavour, which is dominated by the slightly sour note of rhubarb and rounded off with a hint of the sweetest vanilla. At 17% vol., it is a light summer pleasure when chilled, and you are welcome to enjoy a glass more.
Rhubarb liqueur is also a welcome change from conventional products as an aperitif with Prosecco - here you get something very special.
